Integrated Flow Control Chamber

Integrated Flow Control Chamber is a factory-prefabricated, modularly integrated stormwater and wastewater intelligent control device. It consolidates multiple traditional functions—such as interception, diversion, storage, backflow prevention, debris screening, and even initial rainwater treatment—within a compact shaft (typically made of fiberglass, or stainless steel). 

Equipped with an intelligent control system, it serves as a critical component in modern urban drainage systems, particularly for stormwater and wastewater separation retrofit projects and overflow pollution control.

The Integrated Flow Control Chamber functions as an automated flow regulator installed at key junctions within a sewer system. It typically incorporates:

• Internal Weirs or Gates: Physical barriers that separate flows.
• Level Sensors & Controls: Monitor flow volume and water quality in real-time.
• Actuated Valves or Gates: Automatically adjust to direct water.
• Screening/Sedimentation Units (Optional): Remove debris and solids.

In dry weather, all wastewater is directed to the treatment plant.
During rainfall, the system intelligently diverts the highly polluted first flush to treatment, while allowing cleaner later-stage stormwater to bypass or overflow in a controlled manner, preventing system overload.

The Integrated Flow control chambers are manufactured in China, using fiberglass, or stainless steel, and delivered ready-to-install to the customer’s exact specifications, pre-fitted with the requisite flow control device.
