Our VFD Constant Pressure Water Supply Control Panel ensures your water system delivers consistent pressure while cutting energy costs. By integrating a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with a closed-loop feedback control system, it dynamically adjusts pump speed to match real-time demand, ensuring reliable and energy-efficient water supply operations.

 

Ideal for buildings, municipal stations, and industrial plants, it combines intelligent pump control with robust protection—all in a compact, user-friendly design. 

 

This control panel utilizes a microprocessor-based PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller to continuously monitor water pressure via a remote pressure transducer/sensor. The system compares the actual pressure against a preset target value and automatically regulates the VFD’s output frequency to accelerate or decelerate the pump motor. This process eliminates pressure fluctuations caused by varying flow rates, providing a smooth and constant water supply.

 

Key Components

  • Variable Frequency Drive (VFD/VSD): The heart of the system, enabling soft-start/stop and precise motor speed control.
  • Pressure Transducer: Provides real-time feedback signal (4-20 mA or 0-10V) to the controller.
  • Protection Devices: Circuit breakers, overload relays, surge protectors, and phase monitors.
  • HMI (Human-Machine Interface): Touchscreen or keypad for parameter setting, status monitoring, and alarm management.
  • Pump Contactors & Relays: For multi-pump configurations (e.g., lead-lag, duty-standby, cascade control).
  • PLC or Dedicated Controller (Optional configuration): Executes control logic, pump sequencing, and system diagnostics.
