PROJECT INTRODUCTION
The project is located in the urban area of Zhongshan and the water body in the urban area needs to be regulated and upgraded to solve the problems of black odor and resident sewage discharge. It requires pumping sewage into the municipal sewage network for centralized treatment.
PROJECT OUTCOME
An integrated pumping station is a compact, pre-fabricated system designed to efficiently transport fluids—most commonly wastewater, stormwater, or rainwater. Its core function is to collect, temporarily store, and automatically pump fluids from a low-lying area to a higher elevation or directly into a main sewer line or treatment facility. By combining the pump, tank, piping, valves, control system, and sometimes pre-treatment into a single, sealed unit, it ensures reliable, odorless, and low-maintenance operation.

The primary functions of an Integrated Prefabricated Pumping Station are as follows:
Collection & Temporary Storage
It receives incoming fluid (sewage, stormwater, industrial effluent) through inlet pipes into a robust, watertight underground tank (typically made of GRP or polyethylene). This tank acts as a buffer, balancing variable inflow rates and preventing pump overload.
Automatic Pumping & Transport
Equipped with one or more submersible pumps, the station lifts the fluid against gravity. An advanced control system, triggered by level sensors, automatically activates the pumps when the fluid reaches a preset height, ensuring continuous and efficient transport to the desired discharge point.
Solids Handling & Clog Prevention
Designed with agitators, cutter pumps, or specific impeller types, the station macerates solids and fibrous materials within the fluid. This crucial function prevents pipe blockages and ensures smooth, uninterrupted flow.
Intelligent Control & Monitoring
The integrated control panel serves as the system's brain. It manages pump sequencing (for wear equalization), provides real-time monitoring of parameters like level, flow, and pump status, and generates alarms for malfunctions (e.g., high level, pump failure) for immediate response, often with remote access capability.
Containment & Environmental Protection
The sealed design completely contains odors and prevents groundwater infiltration or wastewater leakage, safeguarding the surrounding soil and water sources.
Facilitating Connection & Discharge
It seamlessly interfaces with incoming collection networks and outgoing pressurized discharge pipelines, acting as the critical hydraulic link in the overall drainage or sewage system.
